Section 18 (2) of the Public Act 94 of 1979, The State School Aid Act, has been amended, which requires each school district to post certain information on its website within 15 days after a board adopts its annual operating budget or any subsequent revision to that budget. The Annual Budget & Transparency Reporting is an opportunity to communicate to our community on how we utilize the resources that are provided to us.
• North Star Montessori Academy has not incurred a deficit
• North Star Academy does not have a credit card. Our debit card is used very little and must be approved by the Business Manager or CEO/Superintendent.
• North Star Academy did not incur any expenses for out of state travel in 2021-2022.
• The employees of North Star Academy are not represented by any union; therefore no collective bargaining agreements are utilized.
•North Star Academy does not participate in lobbying or utilize any lobbying services.
