Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play.
Children all develop at different paces, and they have different strengths and interests. While in a traditional education every child in the class must follow one path set out by the teacher, a Montessori education follows the individual child's interests using observation.
We have multiple grade classes. The student are able to learn in an environment of challenge and creativity by being around all ages of students.
Teachers model respect, loving kindness, and a belief in peaceful conflict resolution. Montessori students enjoy freedom within limits. Working within parameters set by their teachers, students are active participants in deciding what their focus of learning will be.
